Through this tech art installation, I started with the exploration of new ways to visualise a space, through the research of the past, present and future of spaces which slowly evolved into looking at architectural styles. This steered me into Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for processing the data of the past. After processing data sets of images of the aforementioned subjects through training the machine, poetic AI paintings were created by machine learning processes which were then collected to collate information from them. The AI paintings from ML were more 2 Dimensional than 3 Dimensional and needed to be given a sense of depth to experience the significance of volume and space. This led to the extraction of depth maps of the generated AI paintings. This created an effervescent space structure, where the space came to physicality and also ceased to exist after, exemplifying the idea of space as particles and negating the systemic barrier of space as walls and demarcations. My explorations so far have been to create the FACADE SYSTEM, A new definition of an effervescent architecture re looking at spatial structures. To interweave this with HCI is essential to understand the behavioural aspects of the spaces generated by the machine. As efficient systems are being evolved in the AI space, there is an additional need to humanise these processes to close the loop. Therefore this installation used a Kinect to allow the people interacting with the art to orchestrate the depth of the architecture facade generated on screen at this juncture.
